The legal firm of LEVINE Bridge together with the Association of Italian business GIM-UNIMPRESA held joint conference updating the latest developments in immigration legislation of the Russian Federation. The event was held at the International Trade Center.
Invited to participate at the event were managers and senior managers, affiliated members of the association GIM-UNIMPRESA. The conference began with a speech by the President of GIM-UNIMPRESA, Torrembini Vittorio. He dedicated his remarks to the importance of ensuring competent and professional support on immigration issues as it relates to Italian firms doing business in the Russian Federation.
In his welcoming remarks to the conference, the Director of GIM-UNIMPRESA, Piccoli Antonio noted the continued relevance of discussion topics for conference guests. Presentations were made by the CEO of law firm LEVINE Bridge, Elena Ogawa, who is in addition to her role as CEO a practicing lawyer.
At the conference speakers shared their experiences as it relates to their practice and effective methods for practical solutions in the field of immigration law, Most notably:
• temporary residence permit, temporary residence and residence permits by regions within the Russian Federation,
• Business migration (entry-stay-exit, the responsibilities of the employer and the employee for observing immigration legislation)
• Labour migration (work on labour and civil contracts, the work of the leasing contracts personnel and labour contracts concluded outside the territory of the RF).
The Conference presented by the Law Firm of LEVINE Bridge in partnership with the Italian business association GIM-UNIMPRESA reconfirmed the utmost importance of timely resolutions to all issues relating to immigration, highlighting specifically the significance in the prevention of problems which could arise while a foreign firm is operating a business within the territory of the Russian Federation.
